Born in Italy in 1983, I earned a Master's Degree in Journalism from the University of Rome in 2010. After a few years working as a freelance reporter in Italy and in the U.S., I decided to focus my attention on photojournalism. In 2015, with guidance from members of the Vll Photo Agency, I completed a seven-month mentorship for emerging documentary photographers.

For the past three years I been working as freelance photographer, shooting personal projects and assignments.

My interest in immigration stories – particularly how minorities adapt in their new countries while working to keep their culture alive – led me to my long-term project, “In the Shadow of the Vatican”.

My work has been featured in Italian and foreign media. I currently split my time between Italy and the U.S.
